Nikki Dean is a Presenter and Tech communicator with over ten years of TV and event hosting experience that has taken her around the globe and seen her work with some of the world’s most exciting technology brands.
Nikki also Presents Formula Woman, a competition created to find six female racing drivers to compete in the GT Cup. Through Formula Women, Nikki met many inspiring women aged 17 all the way to over 70 years of age taking part in the competition an experience which has allowed Nikki to broaden her horizons as a presenter as well as, given her the exciting opportunity to undertake training and take to the track herself, a driver! An incredible experience, particularly as she is a huge Car nerd.
Nikki’s skill lies in communicating complicated technology in a fun yet informative way which has seen her work across the Globe hosting product launches, moderating Panel Discussions and presenting Live Events for some of the world’s biggest Brands.
Her love of technology, down to earth nature and quick wit earned her a legion of fans as the retail and ‘Gadget Girl’ on Something for the Weekend, a popular Sunday morning show on BBC 2 where she presented the Gadget section for 2 years.
Nikki has also worked with countless technology brands to help them launch products, host events, and front their branded content which marked a huge change in direction for her presenting career. Although a lifelong gadget geek, Nikki’s career began in entertainment where she racked up 6 years as the Strictly Come Dancing Digital Presenter covering all the backstage stories and online content, plus spending two years as the breakfast show anchor on a live daily 3-hour magazine programme for The Guardian Media Group.
With a successful presenting career to her name, Nikki is now a popular choice to hire to appear at product launches and is also a popular event host, moderator, and awards ceremony host. Using her experience built behind the camera, Nikki is personable and approachable at each event she attends, sharing her passion for all things technology with the audience.
