Dr. Chris van Tulleken 's Biography

Dr Chris van Tulleken is an NHS infectious diseases doctor and an Associate Professor at UCL, where his research spans infectious disease, antibiotic resistance and the commercial forces shaping public health. He is the author of the international bestseller Ultra-Processed People, which examines why so much of what we eat is engineered rather than grown, and what that is doing to our health. He trained in medicine at Oxford University and holds a PhD in molecular virology, for which he received the Max Perutz Prize for his research into HIV.
