Aditi Subbarao's Biography

Aditi Subbarao is the Global Financial Services and Strategic Partnerships Lead at Instabase, an ex-banker turned fintech evangelist advising leading organisations on the adoption and applications of AI. With a career spanning continents, industries, client types and business lines, Aditi has held leadership positions in Foreign Exchange, Derivatives, Payments, Transaction Banking, Loan Origination, Intelligent Automation, and Artificial Intelligence. Currently, she spearheads Instabase's FS vertical, shaping product strategies and GTM execution. Aditi also leads Instabase’s Strategic Partnerships function, building out a collaborative ecosystem to help the industry achieve the benefits of large scale end-to-end AI solutions. With over 16 years of experience across Banking and Technology, Aditi brings a wealth of knowledge and a fresh perspective to the fintech space. Her current focus is Generative AI, and helping organizations benefit safely from this new technology. She is an active participant in the startup community - an advisor and Fintech scout for Raiffeisen Bank, and a mentor and advisor to several startups on topics of Commercialisation, Go to Market, Product Market fit and positioning, and AI. Born and raised in a small town in India, Aditi's journey underscores her firsthand understanding of unequal opportunities and the challenges of ascending in demanding cultures and industries. Aditi believes strongly that creating equitable platforms fosters significant virtuous cycles. She is a strong advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), and is committed to making technology more accessible and empowering for everyone, especially women and underrepresented groups. Beyond her professional life, Aditi is a mum of two, an avid traveler, and an amateur theatre actress. She has performed in and directed several theatre productions in London, delivered keynotes and participated in panels at numerous prestigious industry events, as well as at TEDx. Aditi’s energy and expertise have made her a sought-after speaker - her talks blend deep insights with humor and relatability, leaving audiences inspired and excited about the future.
