Supercar Scientist, Young Motivator With a background in material science and engineering Ella has gone on to become an advocate for women in the science and engineering space. In 2020 she won the IET’s Young Woman Engineer of the Year and in 2022 was honoured a Member of the British Empire (MBE) in the late Queen’s Jubilee Birthday Honours list for her services to Engineering, Innovation and Diversity.  No stranger to life in the fast lane, Ella balances her time between her engineering profession in the automotive industry and inspiring the next generation to pursue a career in science. From a fictional case study for the children’s book Harper Collins’ ‘Big Idea Engineer’ to now one of the youngest members of an advisory board to the Chief of Staff Association.
